MAKUYA DE CRISTO

 This holy convocation of South America was truly a miracle in every way. I have always prayed for the conversion of my family, writing it on my oath every year. This time I had many problems before participating in the holy convocation and I even consulted with Rev. Takami. "God, this will be the last chance. If there will be no change, I will give up," praying thus I participated in the holy convocation with my family.

 

In the first family Sunday meeting after returning from the convocation, every member of my family said that there had never been such a joyful, grateful holy convocation as this; there were parts that they did not understand and their legs also hurt, but they longed for the place of the meeting. Hearing this, I was filled with joy and thanks to God. In addition to this, a miracle also happened inside me. Before the holy convocation, I had been training the complete deep breathing technique, because I knew that Rev. Kadowaki would be coming. But It was too difficult for me. The word "to expire" which is to breathe all the air out, has the meaning "to die" as well. Jesus Christ breathed out all his inner air along with his last cry at the moment of his death. Thinking about the way of his death, I realized that I was not dead in myself; I must also die once in myself and rise with the life of resurrection. When I thought about this, I could do complete breathing.

 

Since then, life has welled up from within and mysterious things have happened within me. When I was praying on Thursday, I heard a voice, saying, “Publish the Light of Life in Spanish!” Then, I said, "I am too busy with a lot of work to do." Then a voice resounded within me, saying, "My servant, feed my lambs." Then, I felt that it was my fault that this Original Gospel had not been fulfilled here in South America, having such wonderful souls as that of Daniel and Luisa. I said, “I am sorry, Mrs. Chiyo and Rev. Numata.” When I was about to mark this important day on my calendar, I realized that it was just the day of the Foundation of Japan and the day that the Light of Life TV program started to be on the air. Then I was sure that this was truly the words of God from heaven.

 

On that day I could not focus my attention on my work as if I were dreaming. In the evening I sat down at my desk and started the translation. Then the world opened before me and many inspirations came to me. This Light of Life magazine is the big seed that we will sow. I realized that until now we also had meetings in Spanish, but not continuously, because they lacked spiritual food. I have been nurtured by the magazine Light of Life and Prof. Teshima's lectures, but they had not had such spiritual foods.

 

When I told my wife María Nélida what was told by God, she was surprised and pleased. Right away I started translating, made a 4-page pilot version and showed it to my wife. Then she read from the start to the end without stopping, as if she was charmed by the Light of Life in her hands.

Until then, I had had worries such as work, business and daily life. But looking at those signs, I felt peace within me; I thought that even if the business would be closed, there would be no problem. I thank God for starting such a wonderful thing within me.
